Role Objective:-
Identification of nature, type & sources of microbiological contamination and to evolve necessary measures to ensure quality medicines/products are manufactured at their every stages of manufacturing free from various microbes.
Responsibilities
Enumeration of bacteria and biochemical identification of bacterial culture.
Test for bacteria and fungi to ensure that all the raw materials, herbs, capsules shells, ingredients and nuskhas etc. used are free from microbes/ are within permissible limit.
To carry on necessary test/ analysis at every stage of formulation/processing/ manufacturing to ensure that all the semi finished and finished medicines/products are free from any microbial contamination.
To do microbial analysis and testing of water.
To ensure the implementation of GMP.
Preparation of SOPs and STPs and successful implementation of the same.
To maintain and ensure an aseptic condition/environment at the work area.
Take necessary measures to prevent the sterile materials from getting contaminated
Co-ordinate with stores, production, filling & packaging deptt. etc. for smooth functioning.
Maintaining proper records/register of all tests and analysis.
Preparation of various reports as required by the management.
You will discuss with your superiors for any quality related problems and suggest necessary measures for rectification of and improvement in the same.
You will take due care for the upkeep and maintenance of the instruments/equipment of your laboratory/section.
Any other duties & responsibilities assigned to you from time to time.
